2019 Double Barrel Tannat, Texas
Another unique Tannat wine from the Tannat House of Texas. After aging in wine barrels, the wine spends approximately another four months in bourbon barrels, giving it the name “Double Barrel” Tannat. The bourbon barrels impart rich, buttery vanilla and caramel aromas and flavors, adding to the wine’s exceptional structure.

This is my favorite Tannant. I have introduced so many Texans to this wine as an entry point for appreciating Texas wines.
