El Dorado’s mountain vineyards are on steep hillsides with warm summer days and cool nights. It’s an environment that yields luscious fruit, alluring depth, refreshing vibrancy, and well-structured, balanced wines. As one of California’s oldest wine regions, El Dorado is incredibly diverse.
Located near the Ursa winery in Placerville, California, Winemaker Greg Stokes has worked closely with Ferrel Ranch since 2017. The Ferrel Family farms their grapes with intention and earnestness, respecting both the grape and the winemaking process.
