2017 Petite Sirah, Shell Creek Vineyards
Rich, bold, and balanced, Old Vine Petite Sirah is one of the few wines we’ve made in every vintage since 2008. The grapes were harvested from 40+ year old vines from Shell Creek Vineyards near Paso Robles, California. Shell Creek is a family operation renowned in the wine world for its Petite Sirah. Old vines don't produce a lot of fruit, but it is very intense. This wine is like drinking velvet.
